Global GDP could shrink 40pct by 2100 under 4 degrees warming – study

A new economic forecast projects that a four degrees Celsius rise in global temperatures could slash the world's gross domestic product by 40 percent by 2100, according to a study by the University of New South Wales (UNSW), reported Xinhua yesterday.
