Lending his presence to the Pakatan Harapan by-election campaign efforts on behalf of candidate M Manogaran on the eve of polling day, Mahathir sought to appeal to Malay voters by explaining Putrajaya's stand on the matter.
He told the local residents that Malaysia had to make a stand, despite ultimately soliciting international criticism over its decision.
"(So) what is the reason we don't allow Israelites to come here? We say they are crooks (penyangak), and we just got rid of one crook," he said to residents of Felda Sungai Koyan today...
UPDATED 3.50PM | CAMERON POLLS | On eve of polls, Mahathir plays up issue with thinly-veiled jab at Najib Abdul Razak.

Zakir Naik is a wanted man, but Mahathir loves him dearly....
He stood up against Israel and Israeli anti- Muslim/Palestinian policies, NOT paralympians as such. He is right.
Did the Jews steal money from this country? Najib did. Did the Jews create the technology widely used by Malaysians, including Muslims? Najib did not. Then as far as I can see, there is only ONE penyangak, not two. And the penyangak is a Malay or Bugis (or whatever).
