Betau Orang Asli chiefs roll out blue carpet for Najib

CAMERON POLLS | Villagers in Pos Betau, the largest Orang Asli settlement in the Cameron Highlands constituency, turned up in droves today to welcome former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak.
He was honoured with the mulang (woven) headdress and sash as he arrived. Many of those present swarmed Najib with requests for handshakes, selfies and even hugs.

If the rest of the context is very judgmental, the phrase could also convey something along the lines of "a sorry excuse of a man." All along, BN/UNMO and PAS win by conning ignorant people. A time will come when these people also wake up like the rest and get rid of BN/UMNO and PAS. Until then, they will have to suffer due to their ignorance.
