Punish racist headmasters who stream students furtively
If it is not a government policy, it must be the work of over-zealous headmasters, or should I say 'racist' headmasters. What is the motive for a headmaster to stream students in primary schools if it is not an education ministry policy? Is it not to promote one race over another? This is, in my mind, a very cruel action on young 10-year-olds! If it is indeed not an education ministry policy, then headmasters must be taken to task for their actions and an apology letter written to all parents of students who have been wrongly streamed.
I can now go back to my 10-year-old, and explain that it was not because of your race that you did not make it to 'A class but because of a miscommunication between the education minister and your headmaster.
