Utusan Malaysia headlined Home Minister Syed Hamid Albar's revelation that ISA detainee and Hindraf leader, P Uthayakumar, had refused to accept medical treatment offered by the authorities.

Berita Harian also led with the RM10 billion economic package which was tabled for first reading in Parliament yesterday.

Malaysia Nanban reported that former MIED head, P Chitrakala Vasu would be meeting Deputy Prime Minister Najib Razak to clear the air following her fallout with MIC president S Samy Vellu. The daily also reported on the plight of Hindraf leader, P Waythamoorthy, who is currently in a London hospital for heart problems.
