I refer to the letters by Home Boy 'EPF should look at fundamentals, not fundamentalists' (Dec 7) and Eric Cantona Malaysia 'EPF must resist temptation of 'sin' stocks'(dec 8). As a Muslim I believe that we will answerable to God on how we have used and obtained our money. What's more, Malaysia is an Islamic state as declared by Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad even though there is a lot of debate over it.

I think it is timely for the EPF management team to consider doing a survey or questionnaire to all the contributors, especially the Muslims, as to how they want their money to be invested, i.e. following the syariah or not.
