Alternatives for US boycotters
Practical but not emotionalPublished: Dec 6, 2001 10:33 PM | Updated: Jan 29, 2008 10:21 AM
In reference to Hassan's letter on 'Be consistent in anti-American policies' (Dec 5), perhaps the letter writer can lead by example and prove that he is not being emotional but practical by being the first to boycott US-made goods.
Don't use any computer systems with operating systems (OS-Windows), Internet browsers (Netscape, IE), word processors, etc., which come from the United States.
If a non-US-made computer system cannot be found, US-goods boycotters can still get their message across through our daily press by sending letters to newspaper companies via Pos Malaysia or better still, Poslaju. Maybe using a pigeon may also be good idea.
