I must commend malaysiakini on your 'clever' little trick in twisting words to mean what you would want them to mean. You have tried hard not to give the impression of your ignorance that the Devil was responsible for the coming of Islam in the Malay world - such is the genius of your journalism and 'impartiality'.

Instead of relying on mythology and fairytales, perhaps you should also include another piece of article in your 'Column', preferably from factual historical accounts and authentic history as we and the world know them to be, as to dynamic reasons why Islam spread so fast and wide through trade, without any violence or bloodshed which the people accuse it with in modern 'strategic' times.

Of course you will not be able to because you will simply say that the piece of article was the 'view' of a Farish A Noor (whoever he or she may be, or a clever imaginary name to air your thoughts through the supposed mind of a Malay Muslim).

Whatever the reason, your agenda, whether political or religious, has been made apparent right from the start of your 'only news that matters' website which has become quite amusing to read. Because the only news that matters to malaysiakini is to pollute the facts, dilute the truth and mix information with misinformation. Surely you need an 'award' for this, too, with all due respect. . .
