I couldn't agree more with Paul Warren that the rationale for Umno Bandar Tun Razak to use "fear of the hall being polluted as it is also used by non-Muslim" is totally incomprehensible at best and irrational at worst ('Fears of religious 'pollution'', Nov 2).

If this statement come from a member of PAS, perhaps this is understandable (mind you, PAS has the credit until today as not having used religion to discriminate against non-Muslim. PAS has even stated publicly that Quran never mention that non-Muslims cannot rear pig).

One wonders whether those in the Umno Bandar Tun Razak also fear that the money in their pocket is being polluted as these money is also being used /handled by non-Muslims? What about the blood bank? Will any of these Umno members refuses blood transfusion in time of emergency because the blood could have come from a non-Muslim?

As a non-Muslim Malaysian, I am waiting to see what the BN, especially Umno and MCA, has to say about the anti-religious-harmony statement by the Umno Bandar Tun Razak. Will they have the political courage and honesty to correct these Umno members?
