It is indeed shocking to see that PAS has responded to the call of jihad by Mullah Omar the ruling figure of the Taliban. For a political party, it is indeed sad and irresponsible that it cannot tell the difference between terrorism and Islam.

From PAS' point of view, it matters not if you are a terrorist, if you are a bandit, if you kill human lives as long as you are a Muslim - the call for jihad is a just cause. PAS is not concerned about the starvation of the Afghan people and the suppression of women under the Taliban rule or the atrocities committed by them.

I fully agree with the statement by our prime minister - if they truly believe in the call for jihad by the Taliban, then they should lead by example. Go to Afghanistan and fight side by side with the Taliban against the 'Great Satan' USA instead of causing problems in Malaysia. Their calling for jihad is against the national interest and the security of the nation.
