Who are these Indians in PKR fighting for? For all Indians or for themselves? Look at the their demands. It looks like they are only after more positions. So really, who are they fighting for?

P Jenapala seems to be one of the ring leaders and he only started making noise after losing his position due to his own financial mismanagement.

Now suddenly he is asking for more positions for Indians in PKR. Can more positions deliver more benefits to the ordinary Indians or just more ego to those who get these positions?

It is time for Indians to realise that they will never reach anywhere with this entitlement mentality. If you want it, work for it. If you want more positions, show you can deliver what you promise and that you can lead, not only the Indians but others as well and the people will vote you in.

That is the best way to get more positions. The quota mentality has to stop and the racist politics have to stop. That is why we voted for PKR and Pakatan Rakyat.

Now for S Manickavasagam, MP of Kapar, grow up man. Stop whining. We all have to work under tough circumstances and do not get what we want all the time. If all of us were like you, we would be job-hopping every other month.

Show us how you are able to work under tough conditions, without ambiguity and as a team. Maybe you can spell out your goals for 2009 and at the end of the year, send out a report card to your voters. Explain why you couldn’t deliver in a professional manner instead of pointing fingers.

Do not try to use the voters and hold the people to ransom with threats. Tian Chua has attributed all the drama to a learning curve, saying the party is growing. Voters expect MPs to be a matured lot. As for the learning curve, you guys better learn fast or risk being kicked out in the next general election.

Mike, you never knew Pakatan Rakyat would be forming the Selangor government when you stood for election. Imagine how much harder your work would be if Selangor was still under BN.

Would you still quit your MP’s post if you couldn’t deliver?

Please re-examine your approach. Your goals maybe noble but you need to work in a team and meet the demands of your voters. No easy job but the person who can balance it will come out a winner.

So Indians, do not get side-tracked by individuals who are fighting for their own needs. Their interest is self-interest. And do not fall for the entitlement mentality which at the end of the day will make Indians lose their competitive edge.
