I don't think we should be hoodwinked into believing that George W Bush is suddenly impressed with our ISA (as we have been led to believe). He merely wants some form of 'legitimacy' to embark on a global hunt for real and imagined terrorists, and who better to endorse his intentions than a well-known Muslim leader of a popular Islam-centric nation?

Do keep in mind that in much of the western world, the descriptions 'terrorist' and 'Muslim' are misguidedly and freely interchangeable, so we know who the prime targets are.

But our leader is very smart - he probably realises Bush's real intentions too, but what better way to shut up the ISA detractors than to have it endorsed by the purported leader of the free world?
