Time.com, Streamyx must be Siamese twins

I refer to the Malaysiakini article Time.com made me cry.
Helen Ang, I'm quite certain that hundreds of Malaysians will tell you that you are not alone. It does appear that Time.com and Streamyx must be Siamese Twins of sorts.
But considering that this is Boleh Land, where most things are ‘tak boleh’, this shameful state of affairs is no longer a surprise to any Malaysian at all though our politicians unashamedly continue to blow hot air every now and then about 'state-of-the-art' this, and 'world-class' that!
I have suffered the same fate; additionally, after two visits to Streamyx shop, plus no less than at least a dozen calls or so and about a month's deprivation of my Internet connection recently.
I have given up waiting for the replacement of an external cable that Telekoms' ‘external contractor’ promised to replace, but who never showed up after fixing each appointment.
Moreover, as if rubbing salt to injury, this same external contractor claimed another time that he was coming in the morning to replace our hand-set. He came as promised – only to relieve us of our good hand-set, replacing it with, not a new one (!), but with his old rickety working set complete with two-tone colours – a black set but with a white wire.
When questioned, he 'promised' to come the following day with a new set – but of course, that was the last we saw of him.
Our Internet service was finally put right by the combined effort of my husband and a private individual who offers such a service – no thanks to Telekoms and Streamyx.
It's certainly of no use Telekom improving with polite customer service attending to calls, but failing miserably in the deliverance of required repair services.
