Disappointed with PMs stand on terrorism
I supported Mahathir because of his courage to stand up and confront radical Islam and his consistent pro-Western stand as witnessed by the many policies he adopted at the suggestion of Western free marketeers, such as privatisation of hospitals and universities, as well as defence cooperation with the US.
In fact, I think Mahathir should have ordered our military to join in the fight against terrorism in Afghanistan. Malaysia should have agreed to let the armed forces of the US, United Kingdom and Japan to use our air and naval bases for anti-terrorist operations against Afghanistan, North Korea, Iraq, Iran and all the rogue states.
Otherwise, his anti-radical Islam statements sound hollow rhetoric to me. I will not vote for Barisan Nasional or any other party in the coming elections if Mahathir does not harden his stand on this great matter of great principle.
