I refer to Sandy's letter 'Make your stand' (Sept 22), which asked: "I wonder, where does Malaysia stand?" - with the terrorists or with the US.

I am more than sure that nearly all Malaysians have no place in their heart for sympathy towards those who kill and murder innocents. Just read some Malaysian news and talk to some Malaysian people, and you will have your answer. It has been condemned by everyone - the government, the opposition, and the people. The writer need not wonder about it or present some kind of ultimatum to Malaysia which he or she didn't have the authority to present in the first place.

We know that Americans are enraged at these attacks. So is the rest of the world - or did the writer think that the World Trade Center didn't have any Malaysians in them?
