Allow me to say something regarding the attack on the New York City World Trade Center. I have read and heard remarks from many quarters that the attack was justified because it was 'an eye for an eye' and it was to punish the US.

Also, from what I could surmise, it was as if these atrocious acts were done in the name of god and religion.

Well, are we human beings or animals? Which right-thinking human would even harbour the thought that killing thousands of innocent people to punish a country can be remotely justified? Saying that the US has killed many in Iraq is no excuse.

Can a person go on a rampage just because someone kills his friends or family? Can we say it is justified? If the answer is 'yes', then we have to admit that we are the lowest forms of living things!

Even worse is the fact that it was reported that many thanked god for the attack. Which religion advocates killing and, in this instance, mass killing? In whose holy book or scripture can one find God telling people to kill? This is not war-time!

Just as sickening is the fact that one local TV station showed Palestinians rejoicing in the streets! What message is the station trying to send? What will the Malaysian youngsters think? That it is right to kill others?
