Nominate the worthy not the unworthy
It puzzles me why PBDS choose to nominate a 21-year-old called Larry Sng who will be replacing his father, Sng Chee Hua. He graduated in June 2001 with no political or even working experience.
Moreover, Larry is not a youth member. Even PBDS did not nominate Daniel Tajem. Don't they have other grassroot leaders that can take over from Sng Chee Hua?
However hard a party member or grassroot leaders serve their party, eventually the son of the leaders will take over their father/mother's seat and not the deserving member.
So why did the president of PBDS, Leo Moggie, endorse Larry Sng's nomination? I sincerely hope the leaders of Barisan Nasional will come to their senses on this issue.
And to Larry, please be patient. Your time will come. Let's start by serving at youth and grassroot level before you come on the main stage. You cannot walk before you learn how to crawl. If you have proven yourself, no one will dare to challenge your nomination.
