So Anwar, you and your counsel better come out with a contingency move to counter this.

If Anwar’s case go up to the High Court with Abdul Gani Patail still the attorney-general, we can expect another drama of the famous tilam type.

With the dismissal of Anwar Ibrahim’s former speech-writer Munawar A Anees’ appeal, the resignation of Justice Ian Chin come December and the acquittal of Abdul Razak Baginda, Dr Mahathir Mohamad has certainly lost no time in putting tight reins on Zaki to decide everything in the government’s favour.

Abdullah Ahmad Badawi will see all his so-called reforms of the judiciary going up in thin air.

Pak Lah will be humiliated even more by Mahathir but Pak Lah can certainly hit back as he is still the prime minister until March 24, 2009.

Pak Lah can make himself into another Gorbachev by bringing an end to the decadent Umno just as Gorbachev brought an end to the Communist Party and the former Soviet Union.

What better way than for Pak Lah to team up with Anwar to topple the government legally and thus revive Anwar’s takeover by defection plan.

Anwar should now quietly meet up secretly with Pak Lah through Khairy Jamaluddin after which Pak Lah and Umno/BN MPs loyal to him - there should be at least 40 of them - will crossover to Pakatan Rakyat.

Pak Lah then declares that he is stepping down and hands the government over to Anwar. I think most Malaysians are dying for this move to happen.

So. why are you still waiting Anwar?
