Illegal Indonesians in Malaysia are now advised to get the proper papers so that they may stay on. According the country's president, Megawati Soekarnoputri, there are now 1.5 million Indonesians in Malaysia and 550,000 are here legally.

Why wasn't more action taken a long time ago to stem and monitor this flow? There have been many news nowadays about Indonesians and other such immigrants committing crimes such as robbery, rape and murder.

How were a million illegal immigrants able to slip past the authorities and how much have the others have had a background check run on them before being allowed into this country?

Where are the authorities appointed by the people to serve and protect Malaysians to put to work the systems that are in place to make this country a safe one?

Why are our own people put into jail for simply expressing their views and outsiders like these can roam freely and commit crimes?

It's not the teachers that need a 'good behaviour contract'; it's the people that are in public service that misuse, abuse and corrupt the power given to them, that need a 'good behaviour contract'.
