Fly our national flag with pride, if you can
Firstly, our judiciary, our government, our police force and our civil service is organised, answerable to the ruling clique who want only what is best for us, the ordinary peasants.
We have a well-respected police force that deals professionally with thugs like those who protested violently along the Kesas highway. The police have also exercised restraint unlike the Italian police, as they have not shot and driven over dead protesters.
Militant terrorists like Mohd Ezam Mohd Nor and Tian Chua are under control thanks to the ISA. God only knows what they would have been up to, given their contacts with the IRA, the FARC and the Taliban.
The press is loyal to the beloved politburo, or is it government? Anyhow, the press is loyal to the ruling few and are more than willing to sing the praises of the government.
Racial harmony is at its zenith, with the ruling parties like Umno Youth ever ready to espouse national unity at Chinese assembly halls (no PM, we did not forget).
We are well on our way to achieving the 'Bangsa Malaysia' objective, with our government constantly reminding us that the MCA protects the Chinese, Umno protects the Malays and MIC, the Indians.
The Indians especially have been given special attention, as proven when many were given low-cost houses after they had been attacked and injured.
The economy is in great shape, compared with the likes of Zimbabwe and Bosnia. Why, even our sports personalities are taking the world by storm, as showcased when we held mighty Manchester United to only six goals (Singapore let in seven, so there!).
We bailed out two conglomerates and handed billions of ringgit to two businessmen so that thousands of others could benefit, although by what means still remains somewhat of a mystery to the layperson.
Our youth are also marching along the right path, thanks to our still active Rakan Muda programme, or was it Rakan Black Magic programme?
We have cracked down the biggest menace to society, the availability of illegal VCDs. Apparently, all the violent crimes being committed nowadays stem from illegal VCDs, so this is akin to getting to the root of all evil.
We are still landing Proton Wiras on deserted spots all over the world. For our heroes, sail around the world, fail and we will still reward you (although scaling the world's highest peak gets you an application form for a low-cost house).
The list goes on and on. Fly the flag if you are a Malaysian and count your blessings. Thank you Mahathir, Ling and Samy. You have made Malaysia what it is today.
