The letter 'Why I support the government' (Aug 16) by Chan Yoke Meng is very interesting. He claims to be a Chinese and a practicing Buddhist too, who lives in Kelantan and has no problem with the PAS state government. His parents even voted for PAS in the elections.

This letter should be a revelation to the majority of your readers, not to non-Muslims but the Umno diehards as well who have voiced their apprehension against PAS.

These group of readers should follow his suggestion; visit Kelantan and Terengganu. See the true state of affairs in these PAS-governed states. Do not just listen or read the BN government's propaganda against PAS without verifying the facts.
