It was with great alarm that I read S Rahman's 'Doing a good job spreading hatred and disunity (July 27)' letter. Regretfully, I must admit that I was one of those few ignorant people who failed to see through malaysiakini 's selfish aims all this time.

I believe it is the duty of every Malaysian to expose the truth behind the lies, and S Rahman must lead the way by showing us what were the real facts which malaysiakini hid and distorted, and let us all see how malaysiakini twisted them to favour their foreign masters.

Only then will the ignorant (of which I was one until S Rahman's letter showed me the light) fully appreciate the cunningness of the traitors behind malaysiakini .

Don't let these cowards get away with their baseless name-calling. It is so easy for the writers to accuse; but let's see them back up their charges with facts. Once all the facts are out, then each Malaysian must decide whether it is the accused or the accuser who is wrong. We don't need anyone to tell us what to think.

If malaysiakini refuses to print S Rahman's exposes, I believe that the New Straits Times' publications are fair-minded enough to give them the attention they deserve.

If this is indeed the case, S Rahman should also point this out when his works appear in NST publications, so that malaysiakini 's censorship and cowardice will be obvious to all.

After reading malaysiakini 's half-baked writings all these months, I look forward with great anticipation to a meaningful discourse with S Rahman about Malaysia's history and leaders.

May there be a Malaysian patriotic enough to publish the truth.
