Why, why, tell us why?
Teng is a very promising young opposition leader who has mastered three languages. He is also a qualified lawyer who sacrifices his time for DAP and the people.
How many more young and promising DAP leaders have to be forced to rebel openly, quit and be condemned and sacked before Mr Lim Kit Siang and the surviving leaders of his generation like Karpal Singh and Dr Chen Man Hin realise their own jealous follies?
Teng is certainly not the first rebel in the party. In the past, there were Walter Loo, Richard Ho, Fan Yew Teng, Gooi Hock Seng, Teoh Teik Huat, Liew Ah Kim, Fung Ket Weng and Wee Choo Keong, etc. Even prominent Chinese educationists like Dr Kua Kia Soong and Lee Ban Chen left the party that they had once joined with great enthusiasm. All that happened even before there was Keadilan. Why, why, why? Kit Siang must explain and be accountable to the nation and the world.
As if that is not enough, DAP under the leadership of Kit Siang has also been openly attacking BA allies like Keadilan, PRM and PAS, and trying to 'ban' former leaders and members from joining and contributing to other opposition parties. Why? Who really has an ulterior motive or secret agenda - Kit Siang or all the rebels since 1969?
Why are Lim Kit Siang and his loyalists being so narrow-minded and self-centered? What constitutes the DAP? Only Kit Siang, Karpal and Chen Man Hin? Only they are right all the time? None of the former leaders and members were ever right?
To be very frank and honest, I have started to hate Kit Siang and DAP for what they have done - i.e. weakening the opposition internally and externally for the sake of individual self-preservation.
