I am confused by the recent announcement of the government's approval for MCA to build University Tunku Abdul Rahman. What's wrong with upgrading TAR College to a university? Wouldn't it be cheaper? Take MARA as an example.

Also, is there enough money in MCA to build a new university?

And if the public and companies were to contribute money to this project, can we trust MCA 'again' in handling the money? Let's not forget the mismanagement of JE Fund, the RM10 million education fund scandal not long ago, etc.

This doesn't make sense.
