New Straits Times and the Star headlined Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi's displeasure over the services of KTM Komuter and LRT as both services do not meet expectations of its users. He used the KTM Komuter services from Serdang to KL Sentral where he switched to LRT before disembarking at the Masjid Jamek LRT station

Similarly Utusan Malaysia and Berita Harian also fronted Abdullah's dissatisfaction over the KTM Komuter and LRT services.
