I tell many of my friends that PKR does not stand for democracy and I am also told by none other than a foreigner who married a local and that he believes that crossovers can be considered the right way to Democracy.

Let us not kid each other, do we really think the grass is greener on the Pakatan side? Today, you (and I mean the rakyat) cannot do anything without our ‘minders’ PKR jumping in and controlling the situation while accusing the police of everything under the sun.

Yes, our ruling government is now weak and these people take advantage of the situation. So what if and when they control the government? I am shaking in my shoes just thinking about it. Notice the Bar Council Forum, PKR MP at work. Heaven help us, we are now a nation of complete strangers to one another.

The other day, one assistant of a state assembly person beat up another state assembly person of the same party, PKR. A police report was made, no action was taken, everything was quiet. There was forgiveness, a good kind of justice. But had it been a BN member being accused and no action been taken, the police would be said to be slow to act or are sympathisers of the ruling party. Someone please make sense of all this.

Take concerts. Every one of them is immoral according to PAS Youth so I cannot judge what is right for my own children anymore. I am not a Muslim to be told by the PAS Youth what is good for my children. What has Anwar have to say to this? Nothing, least he annoy his partners and upsets a planned power grab. All this at the sacrifice of the rakyat's rights.

What else do we have to put up with when this PM-in-waiting takes over? Watch out Malaysiakini, your independent press status will now be not needed. After all , you won't be needed as the government is ‘free’, ‘fair’, ‘justice for all’, ‘no corruption’ and lastly holistic and pure. No need for a free press, nothing sensational to write, no one wants to read good things anyway.

Regretfully, I now read Irene Fernendez say it is alright to crossover and take power, and get rid of the current corrupt government, Irene , my one time heroine, who fought for justice and for the rakyat. Today she says the same rakyat had been duped during the last March 8 Elections. If being duped means losing five states, and a two-thirds majority, then she surely insults her fellow Malaysians by insinuating we did not really vote, but it was massive rigging.

The last few power grabs in near history to my mind is or was in Thailand - military coup they called it, and who came back to power ? The same party! The others were, Pakistan, by the American-loving General and oh yes, Mugabe, plus I might have missed a few. But tell me Irene, what good did it really do for the rakyat of those nations?

Your seaman tale is happening everywhere Irene, East bloc, where the girls are trafficked,India , daughters sold at 12 to husbands, even in UK, so what is your point Irene? Your real theory has been debated for years now, do two wrongs make a right?

Under DSAI we will see ‘democratic’ PKR and PAS people patrolling the streets (this is because our police force has all been sacked , remember, they are corrupt). The rakyat? PAS Youth will tell us what we can see, do and play and I suspect Datuk Nicole David will be outlawed for indecent attire while playing squash.

Simple liberties, Irene, that’s what its all about, not some seaman's story. I believe the guilty people will be brought to justice anywhere in the world if the Irene we all knew still existed. The one that fought against the odds, not compromising on any principles.

This is not a small ship Irene, there are 26 million people and we could not have got it all wrong as Malaysia has enjoyed peace and harmony for 50 years now under the same party. And I must say with an unemployment rate of (somebody help me here) though with 2,000,000 immigrant workers. Now to say there will be no exploitation of these workers as happened in many cases is painting the people of Malaysia as angels.

However, many, and I will now say many, have been really happy immigrants, wanting to stay on (Sabah problem plus those coming here to work have been happy just to be to among us. We have had a Malay PM since independence and a predominately Malay government but they did well. We are a rich nation. Otherwise Irene, how do you rob the coffers of a poor nation?

So to those rakyat who read this and continue to support DSAI, please go ahead and do so. He has his rights, you have yours, he can contest and maybe be elected PM by you, if that is the majority decision. But do not rob this nation that just turned 50 years old of its slow-paced but sure march towards democracy, and maybe someday, a government without corruption and one that won’t allow fishermen to be taken for a ride, will be in power.

Then we can throw those 2,000,000 million migrants out and send them back to their countries, and then maybe they can marry off their daughters at 12 to support themselves, provide underage workers to their own shoe factories, exploit their own workers with horrendous living and working conditions. Many of them are now living in these pitiful places without hope anyway, as their own society cares not for them.

After all, we will then be a ‘matured society’ (50 years from now) living in an ideal world so why should we care about them?
