The party submitted its reply to the show-cause letter at the end of last month, and the BN supreme council meeting on Wednesday had been expected to make a decision on it.

"It (the delayed decision) shows that the BN put their political interests above that of the people of Sabah," he added.

Simple and clear reply

Yong said Sapp’s three-paragraph reply to the BN’s show-cause letter was so simple and clear because it was mere reiteration of the party’s loss of confidence in the prime minister announced on June 18 and endorsed by its supreme council on June 20.

"What is so complicated that the BN needs to study in detail?" Yong asked, adding that the prime minister was stingy with the truth by saying they needed to study the Sapp letter in detail.

The Sapp leader also said the party will forge ahead with greater force and unity in pursuit of its struggle for the people based on the its declaration of eight points, to fight against the 'taxflation' and rapid rise in costs of living which have caused hardship to the people.
