Asian DJ duo Zen T and Satori C have voiced their support for opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim in a YouTube video entitled ‘An-War (End-War)'.

The video clip is also available on Voize, Malaysiakini's lifestyle website featuring the latest in music, movies, travel, and entertainment.

Punctuated with quotes by Bob Marley, Anwar and American business guru Jack Welch, the three-minute video calls the viewer to action with a "pro peace, not anti-war" message that, according to the video's description on YouTube, "revolves around issues pertaining to injustice and oppression".

The video's title, ‘An-War (End-War)' is believed to allude to two particular word plays that surfaced three years ago in a CNN report in which the PKR leader's name was pronounced ‘End-War'.

Though Malaysians are not dealing with a physical war, the obvious implication is that a battle is indeed raging in terms of personal freedoms and the leading of the nation, and that the breakdown of Anwar's name into ‘End-War' signifies his destiny to bring peace to the country.

Zen T and Satori C also found another significant implication by dissolving and translating Anwar's name using the Vietnamese word for peace, ‘an'.

Though paradoxical, the pair said this eerie irony represents the "duality of life that is symbolic of the state of the world".

Although not much is known about the DJ duo, they have performed extensively around Asia, their signature style revolving around electronic-dance and rock music.
