Umno spits on its very supporters

It is sad to see that Umno and its leadership revel in public condemnation of the section of citizenry that gave them solid support for the last 50 years to rule the country.
Consistent badgering and humiliation of the Malays in public by leaders supposedly elected by them was something unthinkable in the distant past. And perhaps the Malays are tired of people who disrespect their existence to the extent of publicly humiliating them.
After such display of insensitive rhetoric, one would wonder if the Malays can still tolerate and to continue to support ungrateful leaders such as those that dare to spat on their faces. And for the Umno delegates to applaud at their own humiliation is even more disheartening.
Much like what customers are to a business, Umno is nothing without the support of the Malays. And it may be wise for Umno not to antagonise the people that put them there.
