An author may take a day to weeks or even months to complete a particular book. The least we could do to appreciate is by reading it.

Two learned judges in Selangor and Sabah had taken the trouble to deliver judgments without fear or favour.

For all the pains they had gone through and the potential consequences following their judgments, I feel compelled to express my deepest appreciation to Justice Mohd Hishamudin Mohd Yunus and Justice Muhammad Kamil Awang for a job well done. They may have become very unpopular in the eyes of the losing parties but believe me, I am not alone in recognising their efforts and achievements in ensuring justice is served.

Taking into account the much said serious erosion of public confidence in our judiciary, their actions will be seen as a starter in returning the glory, once enjoyed by our respected judicial institution.

Being an ordinary Malaysian, I can only hope and pray that there will be more judges who will find the inner strength towards bringing constructive and positive changes to the once respected institution.
