We refer to your report published in malaysiakini, Former Sabah CM loses seat over 'phantom voters', June 8.

Please note that your publication which says "the High Court today ordered former Sabah chief minister Yong Teck Lee to vacate his state assembly, ruling that he won it in 1999 with the help of "phantom voters" is not the finding made by the learned judge in the case.

The learned judge made a finding that the 1998 electoral roll for the Likas constituency was illegal and accordingly declared the election for the Likas constituency null and void.
