There has been so much mudslinging between pro-government media and pro-opposition media with regard to the latest issue, i.e. the Nanyang takeover by MCA - with each side claiming that the other is not a responsible media - that I'm calling on the pro-opposition media to report responsibly.

But what I really want to know from the pro-opposition media is information on how the opposition will govern the country if they come into power. This is what really matters.

In the last general election, my vote went to the ruling party because I didn't see any real issues from the opposition party. The Anwar Ibrahim issue is not one, to me. All those fishing for sympathy will not get the opposition anywhere.

Many people who are as concerned about the opposition gaining ground keep thinking, "Better to deal with the devil you know than the devil you don't." Thus from now till the next election, the opposition's success in getting votes from this group of people will be to convince them that Barisan Alternatif is capable of governing the country. BA must tell the public how it has been managing Kelantan and Terengganu so that the people may have the confidence to vote for the opposition.
