I wish to commend the eight MCA leaders who were brave enough to oppose the purchase of Nanyang. It is time for us to reconsider the role of MCA in Malaysian politics - is it representing the Chinese Malaysian or are there vested interests at the leadership level where personal gains seem to drive the party's actions.

Perhaps it is time for Lim Ah Lek to come out and form another party which is more conscientious and will sincerely look after the interest of the Chinese.
