I do not know why malaysiakini and the opposition parties are making a fuss about Huaren Holding Sdn Bhd and Star Publications Bhd buying Nanyang Siang Pau and China Press.

It is, as MCA President Dato' Seri Ling Liong Sik has said, a normal business deal. Huaren Holding and The Star are not political but pure business concerns. If you do not believe this, go to the Registrar of Companies to check the backgrounds of the shareholders.

What is wrong with MCA having money? Are you losers jealous of MCA? Are you people communists who want to nationalise private properties?

There is certainly a need to preserve the Internal Security Act (ISA) to deal with modern-day communists the likes of you. If people like you do not like MCA investing in the media, why don't you yourselves raise enough money and do the same? What is preventing you from earning money and investing it productively in media? Why are you just criticising others while doing nothing constructively to improve and upgrade yourselves?

As MCA, of which I am a member, is fighting for Chinese rights and opposing the idea of Islamic State, it needs to command enough resources, especially the media, to negotiate with Umno which controls more media like Utusan Malaysia, Berita Harian, New Straits Times and RTM.

What is wrong with that? Don't DAP, PAS, Keadilan and PRM, too, have their respective Rocket, Harakah, Berita Keadilan and Suara?

If the opposition parties cannot expand their newspapers, don't blame MCA and sabotage MCA's effort.
