Malaysiakini should not allow Dr M Bakri Musa to be a regular contributor to its highly respected Internet daily. His articles and his logic in arguing his points make little sense to most readers and it quite obvious that he is biased in his writing.

For example, as an experienced doctor, he cannot make diagnosis on a patient without first seeing the patient and studying all the details of the case ('An Anwar in exile will be an Anwar forgotten', May 4). I am puzzled with all the uncalled-for remarks that he makes. I wonder whether he is really a medical doctor or merely a politician trying to convince us on his views with his ill-researched comments.

I have read his earlier article in the New Straits Times sometime in early 1999, again arguing his case without any medical records and without meeting the patient. That article was well demolished by another Malaysian doctor who clearly explained to us how doctors make their diagnosis and carry out the necessary treatment on the patient.

I totally agree with the points made by Abu Kassim on Bakri ('Hippocratic Oath to Hypocritic Odes', May 7). I hope more readers will share with others their opinion of the writer.
