I would like to comment on My Voice's letter, 'Of idiots and pretenders' (May 3). To paraphrase Sabri Zain, My Voice can be grouped in the Corruptus cronyvaripus species, along with the writer who wrote the letter, 'The other side of mahafiraun' (March 31).
Being an excellent athlete is commendable and does the nation proud, but such 'monumental' achievement is in reality trivial, almost insulting in comparison to sacrifices by others on the altar of justice and peace.
I can not even begin to comprehend, let alone pretend to understand, the bereavement currently experienced by the families of the reformists who are detained without hope of a trial.
