The Perak coalition government has finally established portfolios for its executive councillors as well as Menteri Besar Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin.

The 10 exco members - six from DAP, three from PKR and one from PAS - were sworn in without portfolios on Saturday.

There are no deputy menteris besar to represent the Chinese and Indian community respectively, as hinted at previously, and no women in the exco.

However, Perak DAP chief Ngeh Koo Ham has been named the senior exco.

  • Nizar, the Pasir Panjang assemblyerson, will oversee the most important portfolios - economic development, land matters, natural resources, security and rural development.

  • ngeh koo hamPerak DAP chief Ngeh Koo Ham (Sitiawan) will head the finance committee and oversee the infrastructure and public amenities, energy, water and non-Muslim affairs portfolios.

  • Ngo Kor Ming (Pantai Remis) - Education committee head, local government, housing and public transport

  • a sivanesanA Sivanesan (Sungkai) - Health committee head, environment and human resources

  • Seah Leong Peng (Pasir Pedamar) - Culture committee head, youth and sports

  • Chen Fook Chye (Keranji) - National unity committee head, national integration and consumer affairs

  • Thomas Su (Pasir Pinji) - Higher education committee head, science, technology and communication

  • Jamaluddin Mohd Radzi (Behrang) - Entrepreneur development, agriculture and commerce

  • Tai Sing Ng (Kuala Sepetang) - Industrial development and information

  • Mohd Osman Mohd Jailu (Changkat Jering) - Tourism committee head, human capital and NGOs

  • Mohd Zainuddin Mohd Yusof (Lubuk Merbau) - Religious committee head, Islamic education, woman and welfare
