With reference to the report [#1]Anwar denies yielding to government's terms on back surgery[/#] (March 30) I am just appalled by the government's refusal to allow jailed former deputy prime minister Anwar Ibrahim his basic right to seek medical treatment.

To dispute the opinion of a surgeon who "has performed over 8,000 - including over 6,000 minimal invasive spine operations" and "published 22 scientific papers, contributed to four books and spoken at over a hundred congresses" is just baffling to say the least. See [#2]Alphalink[/#].
