If I can remember it right, some years ago, the Transport Ministry introduced the directive that heavy and commercial vehicles should have their headlights on and made it compulsory for all to have an automatic revolving light on their cabin roof that will activate itself if the vehicle exceeds a certain limit. All these gadgets and rules were introduced by the ministry without any proper enforcement and after a certain period the matter was forgotten. The only people who benefitted from these were the suppliers, as in the case of the revolving light device.

Now, the same Minister wants to introduce black boxes for buses! My advice to the minister is, please do not make a mockery of the ministry and the law if you are not able to enforce your rulings. Perhaps it will be more appropriate if you spend some time finding out why so many airlines are bypassing KLIA.
