I am a mother who was terrified and horrified over what happened near Old Klang Road in the past few days. The lack of information on the incidents and the different stories I hear have made it worse.

I don't trust the local TV and newspapers as they are under government control and would only feature what the government wants.

Please tell us the truth and advise all to refrain from violence! Hiding the truth would only make us more curious. Our daily dealings with each other would be awkward or insincere, even if the riot at Kg Medan has nothing to do with us.

People should be made to be aware of what was happening, or they might just die while walking alone, as had happened. I am especially scared of people on motorcycles now.

Why are we so afraid to say what has happened? We have to face the problem, resolve it, and save people's lives! You have to put some sort of plan to action so that the two communities affected can be back to normal, forgive each other and start their own life. It's so easy for our sterling leaders to play down this incident, as easy as washing your hands!
