Making history together

Cornered with daily exposure of the multitude skeletons in the Barisan Nasional cupboard, true to form, Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad has embarked on his gutter politics of casting aspersions on anyone or any organisation that is getting too close to the truth.
In a desperate distortion of facts the TV viewers are being told, in prime time news no less, that malaysiakini is a traitorous organisation not worthy to be believed. Their motive is so blatantly obvious I wonder if there are any Malaysians left who believe the government's propaganda machine.
I would like to take this opportunity to encourage the malaysiakini team to endeavour regardless, for the real question is, would you rather be ignored, or be the centre of government attention as you are now? They would not bother with you if you were not making an impact. So rest assured the current deluge of Nazi-like propaganda against your organisation is proof that raw nerves are being touched and many people in high places are losing sleep over your valiant journalism that has no precedent in Malaysian press history. No matter what they throw at you, we, the thinking Malaysian public is solidly behind you.
Heck, why don't you start some public fund that we can contribute for your organisation's upkeep. I suspect the response may just be overwhelming.
Keep up the good work. We are history in the making.
