I refer to the moving of EPF to the Umno building in Shah Alam ([#1]Why must EPF move out and rent elsewhere?[/#], Feb 28). It is a crime and an obvious effort to fill the building in Shah Alam which belongs to the ruling party in government. It is a conflict of interest and an obvious assertion of authority which has no accountability to anyone.

This is another blatant manipulation by the ruling elite to stuff their widening pockets. There is no more fear or regard for the ordinary citizens of Malaysia. It is disgusting and it is time the people give them the boot.

This mentality stems from the sickness that comes with being too long in power. The money that the ruling government spends is robbed from under our noses. They forget it is the taxpayers' money.

I am a businessman who travels in the region a lot. When people in the Philippines tell me how modern KL looks, I tell them Malaysia is 15 years behind the Philippines.

Why do I say so? Twenty years ago, the Philippines under Marcos had the most modern and best infrastructure in Southeast Asia. Today after two decades of rape and plunder, the Philippines lie in shambles.

We are not too far off when we look at our own coffers.
