We may never want to admit we are racists. However, generally, Malaysians all think in racial terms. I challenge anyone who says he or she doesn't.

All the while Barisan Nasional was based on that foundation. I thought with the National Development Plan (1991-2000) we are actually heading towards one united nation and we'd moved on from anything racial. But how wrong and naive I was. The [#1]Suqiu appeals[/#] definitely showed just that.

There is one exception though: PAS insists it is different.

But the saddest part of it all is to see DAP resorting to the same old plot by announcing the Defend Mother-tongue Education Committee and inviting (as a show of brotherhood, I guess) speakers from MCA, Gerakan and SUPP. My question is defend it from what? Or whom?

After 43 years of independence, just where are we? I guess we are still where we were before.
