COMMENT | Doctors can't stop a genocide, world leaders can
Each day, our 1,399 MSF colleagues working in Gaza face the devastating reality that they cannot stop a genocide. But world leaders can, if they choose to act.
As the second anniversary of this relentless and extreme violence approaches, the political choices required to end it are long overdue. We commend Malaysia’s leadership in fearlessly calling out Israel’s actions in Gaza and urging the world to stand in solidarity.
We now ask that Malaysia - through its medical professionals, associations, civil society, and the wider public - continue to demonstrate courageous leadership and rally Asean to act with one voice on Gaza.

War is not the solution. Genocide commtitted by anyone is not acceptable. The Gaza issue is a religious one. Hamas should be stopped. They started the 7th Oct Genocide and Islamic nations cheered. Now what happens? Why is Hamas still holding the hostages? It takes courage and resolves for all leaders to bridge the impasse. All failed. Why, what are the reasons? Can the Islamic nations meet with Israeli Govt for a resolve? If yes, act on it. If no, why not? UN cannot be United Nothing. Do not take sides. Killing is to be avoided. Why must the world tolerate terrorist? Muslim Brotherhood? Crusaders? It is crazy barbaric world we live in after more than 6000 years of civilization. Humans are behaving like animals, killing is a norm. Big fish eats small fishes Big fishes fear small fishes. Majority fear minorities. Minorities fear majorities. There is lawlessness. Shame on humanity.
