I refer to your report Abdullah: I'll continue with my style. I think he means that he will continue with his merry ways.

Any survey sponsored by the New Straits Times should be read with a healthy pinch of salt. It is the "feel good factor" rearing its head again, subtly, before the coming elections. That we are expected to fall for this spin-doctoring is one thing, but et tu Pak Lah? We have a prime minister falling for his own hype, how ridiculous can it get?

I cannot see how he can proclaim, in all seriousness, that the country is happy with his style of leadership and that he has the cheek to say that he does not wish to change his ways. It is an insult to our intelligence and whatever little good that has come out of his premiership so far is in spite of his leadership, not due to it. Of course, Pak Lah does not realise this. He is surrounded by sycophants feeding him all kinds of "good" news. I doubt he reads alternative views or reads at all.

Much has been written about Dr Mahathir Mohamad's failed legacies but it really pales in significance when you see the country being slowly stripped to the bone by puppeteers. We have to live with an inept and toothless leader who continually fails to see his shortcomings.
