During the recent Chinese New Year holidays, I had a chance to visit Terengganu. I found it to be a beautiful place and hope Malaysians from other states can visit the state, especially for its scenic islands. I found the people to be very happy and helpful.

To my amazement, there were many banners strewn in the towns and along the roads. They are written in colloquial language, protesting about the petrol money that had been taken away from the state by the federal government. I found them unique. But I think they will be more effective, politically, if some are written in other languages.

I hope the Terengganu government will consider my suggestion.
