Mocking other religions contrary to Islam - Jakim

The Islamic Development Department (Jakim) has stressed the importance of respect for all religions, none of which should be made a subject of mockery - be it verbally, in writing, through actions or on social media.

Its director-general Sirajuddin Suhaimee said that as a multi-racial and multi-religious country, the government also emphasises the values of respect, tolerance and mutual prosperity.
