The New Straits Times and Star published close circuit television images of several people involved in the dumping of a sport bag believed to contain the body of Nurin Jazlin Jazimin

The Sun headlined that civil servants responsible for the irregularities found in the Auditor-General's Report will be punished according to Chief Secretary to the Government Mohd Sidek Hassan. It also reported that 200,000 people are expected at Prime Minister Abdullah Ahamd Badawi's Raya open house.

Malay newspapers

Utusan Malaysia and Berita Harian both published the CCTV pictures of suspects involved in Nurin's murder.

Utusan reported that civil servants responsible for the irregularities found in the Auditor-General's Report will be punished and that the Malaysian cosmonaut will experience 'space sickness' before docking at the International Space Station.

Berita Harian wrote that Dr Sheikh Muszaphar and two other astronauts have been in contact with the Moscow Mission Control Centre.

Chinese newspapers

Nanyang Siang Pau and Oriental Daily highlighted the statement by Chief Secretary to the Government Mohd Sidek Hassan that the government would announce the type of disciplinary action to be taken against civil servants for corruption and mismanagement under the 2006 Auditor-General's report.

Sin Chew Daily also frontpaged the images of the CCTV recording pertaining to the murder of Nurin Jazlin Jazimin.

Tamil newspapers
