Single father of 3 lands in prison for banana theft

The Magistrate’s Court in Batu Pahat, Johor, has sentenced a 35-year-old father of three to three months in prison for stealing bananas from a farm.

Magistrate Nurasidah A Rahman delivered the ruling after Muhammad Fadil Ismail, a widower and lorry attendant, pleaded guilty to the charge.
