Musa Aman returns
Former Sabah chief minister Musa Aman is back in a position of authority.
He was appointed as the next Sabah governor, effective Jan 1.
Musa's long career has been chequered with allegations of corruption and abuse of power.
Though appointed on the recommendation of the Sabah chief minister, Musa's second coming is threatening to become another stain on Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim's record.

Anwar is also cosying up to another former leader with a chequered past.
The prime minister - in his capacity as the Asean chairperson next year - has appointed former Thai premier Thaksin Shinawatra as his 'informal' personal adviser.
Anwar said the experience of such statesperson was needed.
Thaksin had been accused of abuse of power and corruption and was jailed upon his return from exile last year.
However, his sentence was reduced from eight years to one year by the Thai king, and was released on parole in February.
